Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop is a Desktop publishing program (also known as DPP) software.

It is mainly used for graphic editing, it is very powerfull tool for the graphics today which is available. It is widely used around the world and so popular in image and graphics editing that any altered (edited) image or graphics is called “Photoshoped”.

Developed by Adobe Systems, it is a market giant in areas of bitmap manupilation and commercial imaging. It can be termed as a “Killer Application” in it’s domain.

Photoshop cames with another powerful tool called as Image ready, it is highly powerfull tool in terms of image editing for web development applications.

Earlier Adobe used the brand name Photoshop but in earlier it renamed Adobe Photoshop 8 as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe CS). The Cretive Suite of Adobe (Adobe CS)was a big leep in the Graphic Edition industry and it was packed with many tools with high work efficiency which made it more easy to operate and bring out the creativity of the imagination of the user.

The feel of the CS was much like the previous Photoshop versions but it has more powerful tools.

Later the Adobe systems launched CS2 and CS3 with even more power for the graphic manupilation and edition industry.
